The live ensemble

Konpa Metal, led by Clinton Benoit

Haitian Konpa rhythm and heavy metal power, played by a live band built around its founder.

Founder

Clinton Benoit and the Konpa Metal sound

Clinton Benoit founded Konpa Metal to bridge the authentic rhythm of Haitian Konpa with the distortion and drive of heavy metal. The aim is a sound where the dance pulse and the guitar weight are not competing forces but one language.

Each arrangement starts from the Konpa groove and builds outward into riffs, double-kick sections, and dense rhythmic layers, keeping the music rooted in its origin while pushing it into new territory.
